The gallery of James HIll's disturbingly lovely artwork. The bulk of the artwork is painted in acrylic on canvas. My art has evolved from painting very large canvases to painting smaller work. My always sign my artwork JS Hill as there are other artists named James Hill, though no surrealists thankfully. James Hill must be a good name for an artist! My first painting was the Neurochasm, a very large quite dark painting, though my artwork is always described as dark or disturbing but I disagree! The Neurochasm by James Hill is shown as a sketch and the finished painting, as are the Tree of Life by JS Hill and Finite and Futile by James Hill, art about life.My paintings are evolving into a more surrealist style as I go on. People have described my art as surreal but i don&#8217;t really call myself a surrealist, just an artist. I have been doing art for a long time but only painting for 4 years so far.
